United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

Provided support for a knowledge management project to develop a taxonomy for Teamworks, a new knowledge sharing and collaboration platform developed in Drupal, an open-source web content management system. The project was based out of the Regional Centre for East and Southern Africa in Johannesburg under the auspices of the Bureau of Policy Development.

Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR)

COAR is a global network designed to support Open Access Repositories. We provide support for COAR in terms of communication and outreach, business development, and working group initiatives such as the Challenges of Open Access Repositories & Global Interoperability project.

United Nations Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)

Worked on-site at UNESCO headquarters in Paris on the organization’s new Open Access programme. Worked with management and programme staff to liaise with representatives from Member States, policy makers, research funding agencies, publishers, and librarians from around the world to encourage policy development, stimulate discussions about Open Access, and identify areas for collaboration and partnerships with other organizations.

The Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO)

ASTHO seeks to improve the organization’s capacity to support knowledge management through improved internal processes, workflows, and practices. The goals for this consultancy are to: analyze current knowledge management practices, workflows, and processes; recommend ways to systematically enhance and improve knowledge creation, knowledge exchange, and knowledge management within the organization; and recommend a system to serve as the platform to support ASTHO’s growing knowledge management needs.

National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE)

Serve as a consultant for NITLE members to work with liberal arts colleges and universities adapt to current and emerging trends and prepare for the future as part of NITLE’s Futures and Scenario Modeling Consulting services.
